Versatile Sage Cream Cheese

This versatile Sage Cream Cheese is equally tasty using either a good quality store-bought cream cheese or your homemade recipe. 2-8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened

½ cup butter, softened

1 T lemon juice

3 or 4 tsp minced fresh sage (1½ tsp dried)

1 clove garlic, minced

  1. Blend all the ingredients together, thoroughly.

Serve at room temperature on crudités, crackers, open-faced sandwiches, or use as a topping over grilled chicken. You can also stuff chicken breasts with this refreshing cream cheese, wrapping the stuffed breast in foil and then baking.
