In the 18th Century, Frederic Tolfrey, originally from France, was offered this drink in Canada and wrote down the recipe in his diary. Ingredients: ¼ c gin
3 T lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1 whole clove
2/3 c boiling water
- Combine all the ingredients together heat proof mug.
- Allow your brew to steep for a few minutes for the flavours to blend, before drinking.
- Very tasty, and relaxing during the flu season, or for that matter, anytime!
