Mint is well known as an excellent digestive aid and an appetite stimulant. Drunk as a tea before bedtime, this Mint Cup Tea has a soothing sedative effect. This delicate cup is a wonderful mixture with an intriguing taste, sure to soon become a favourite.
Ingredients:
4 sprigs fresh mint
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp lemon juice
2 T grapefruit juice
½ cup chilled tonic water
crushed ice
lemon slices, to decorate
- Crush two of the sprigs of mint with the sugar and put these into a glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Add the lemon juice, grapefruit juice and tonic water. Stir gently and decorate with the remaining min sprigs and slices of lemon.
