Ingredients: 3 oz chopped raw almonds
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1½ c vodka (12 oz)
½ c sugar syrup
- Place the almonds, a pinch of cinnamon and the vodka in a sterilized lidded glass jar.
- Shake well to combine all the ingredients together, then cover and steep for 2 weeks.
- After the 2 weeks are up, strain the resulting liquid into another lidded glass jar. Add the sugar syrup to sweeten your Almond Liqueur. (To make the sugar syrup, combine ½ c sugar dissolved in ½ c boiling water, then allow to cool)
- Shake to thoroughly combine the flavours. Allow the Almond Liqueur to sit for a few weeks more to mellow the flavour.
