For this Herb Salt recipe, you can make use of your fresh dried garden herbs, or use store-bought.
1 cup sea salt or kelp
2 T mint
2 1/2 T lemon balm leaves
4 T basil
4 T parsley
2 T rosemary
2 T tarragon
2 T thyme
2 T dill leaves
2 T paprika
- Place all of the above ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix together thoroughly.
- Using small batches of your mix, ‘blend’ together in your blender until it is the consistency you desire.
- You can store your herb salt in either a glass container or in decorative shakers.
This is a lovely make-ahead gift for both friends and family, and will also be greatly appreciated by all those who consider themselves ‘connoisseurs’.
