Kitty Kibblers
Although the feline in your life may be very finicky, these tasty Kitty Kibblers will prove to be more irresistible than catnip! And you will reap the benefit of her added love and devotion afterwards. Ingredients for approximately 3 cups of these tasty Kitty Kibblers
¼ cup whole wheat flour
¼ c wheat germ
¼ cup instant soy drink powder
¼ cup brewers yeast
3¼ oz can of sardines in spring water (with liquid), mashed
3 T water
1. Mix together the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
2. Combine the sardines, their liquid and the 3 T of added water, mixing thoroughly.
3. Divide the Kitty Kibblers dough into 8 equal portions.
4. Roll each eighth portion into a ¼ ” diameter rope.
5. From each rope, cut ¼ ” kibble pieces.
6. On a large lightly greased baking sheet, evenly space each Kitty Kibbler apart, making sure than none are touching.
7. Slightly flatten each kibbler with the back of a fork or spoon.
8. Bake your feline treats in a 350 degree F oven for approximately 8 minutes, or until hard and dry.
9. Cool.
10. Store these taste-tempting Kitty treats in an airtight container for up to 10 weeks. (if your favourite feline will let you!)
