Honey and Herb Soap—A soothing and refreshing soap. Select your herbs to use according to your needs. 10 T grated castile soap
½ tsp olive oil
2 tsp clear honey
2-3 drops essential oil, such as rosemary (stimulating)
- Put the grated castile soap in the top of a double boiler, or in a microwavable bowl in the microwave set on low power. Melt the soap. Then slowly stir in the olive oil, a drop or two at a time. Gently stir in the honey and essential oil. When combined, remove from the heat. Continue to stir until the mixture is well blended.
- Pour this mixture into molds such as wax paper cupcake papers or any small cookie or cake mold. Leave undisturbed to become hard, which may take up to two weeks.
- Unmold your soap, and wrap in wax paper to store.
