This is an excellent healing expectorant syrup riding the lungs of built up mucus, and doesn’t taste ‘garlicy’ at all.
Bring 1 pint of water to the boil in a medium covered pot. Remove from the heat, and add 2 ounces of finely chopped garlic. Cover the pot and allow this mixture to stand 10 hours at room temperature.
Strain and discard the garlic. Add 4 Tablespoons of honey and
1 Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
Bottle your garlic syrup in sterilized corked bottles, and store it in the fridge.
To use: take your garlic syrup 1 teaspoon at a time, approximately 4 times daily, as needed for best results. (For more herbal remedies/cures/recipes; herbal information; herbal makeup recipes; and so much more, please check the ‘categories’ section of betweenclosefriends.com)
