Effective Homemade Honey Lip Balm

With winter’s harsh winds once again upon us, we all need the extra protection against chapped lips. This is a wonderfully soothing homemade recipe to heal and soothe chapped lips if winter winds have already wreaked their havoc. Used as a chapped lip preventative, the honey has a moisturizing effect on your lips, and the vanilla scent is most appealing to the opposite sex! He will be irresistibly drawn to your soft, moist kissable lips!

1/2 cup almond oil

½ to 1 ounce beeswax

1 T honey

½ tsp essential oil, such as vanilla or rose (for flavour)

1. Gently warm the almond oil.

2. Combine the warmed almond oil with the beeswax, and stir gently in order to melt it together.

3. Stir in the honey and the essential oil of your choice.

4. Pour your homemade lip balm into small plastic lidded containers. (the round clear plastic containers suitable for lip balm are available at most dollar stores)

5. Let the balm cool uncovered.

6, Then place the lid on your container, and you and your lips are ready to go!
