Chamomile Tea—Chamomile tea is apple-scented, and used as a digestive aid and a mild diuretic. Taking a cup of tea before bedtime helps cure insomnia producing a restful sleep.
1 T dried chamomile flower heads
2½ cups boiling water
honey or sugar (optional)
- Place chamomile flowers into a teapot or directly into a mug. Pour on the boiling water and leave for about 5 minutes, or longer if you prefer a stronger flavour.
- Stain the tea, and if you wish, add a small amount of caster sugar or honey and stir to dissolve.
