Blackcurrant and Lemon Verbena Tisane—A warm, comforting fruity drink that will revive you on a cold winter’s night. It is also excellent served chilled on a hot summer’s day.
1 T fresh or frozen blackberries 10 lemon verbena leaves 2½ cups boiling water
- Pour the boiling water over the blackcurrants and lemon verbena leaves and leave for about 5 minutes, or longer to taste.
- Strain the liquid into cups or tall glasses and decorate with a sprig of lemon verbena. If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in 1 tsp of brown sugar.
