Treat minor cuts and scrapes safely with herbs

Comfrey Infusion—This is a useful lotion to make up to treat minor cuts and scrapes. It should be used at room temperature when not too cold, as it is more soothing warm. (For external use only)

2 tsp fresh comfrey leaves

(or 1 tsp dried comfrey)

1 ¼ cups of boiling water

  1. Shred the fresh comfrey leaves into small pieces and cover with the boiling water. Allow to steep for 10 minutes. Leave to cool
  2. Gently bathe cuts and abrasions with this lotion on a lint pad. It is also good for minor burns, scalds, and sunburn.
