How to Make your Very Own Tasty Chicken Nuggets

Everyone enjoys these simple to prepare Chicken Nuggets. They don’t take very long to make—about the same time it takes to go to your nearest Fast Food Restaurant and purchase them–BUT these tasty gems are healthier, all natural and devoid of chemical preservatives. They are wonderful to serve as appetizers, or for a quick and healthy family meal. 1 lb ground raw chicken

2 T onion flakes

½ tsp thyme

1 large egg ¾ tsp salt

½ c dry bread crumbs

1/3 c milk

  1. Combine the above ingredients, and mix together well.
  2. Shape into 1” balls, and set aside.

Coating Mix Ingredients:

½ c salad dressing or mayonaise

¼ c milk

1 c dry fine bread crumbs 1 tsp paprika

1. Mix the salad dressing (or mayo) with the milk in a bowl.

2. Stir the breadcrumbs and paprika together in a separate bowl or saucer.

  1. Dip the prepared chicken balls into the salad dressing mixture; then coat with the crumb mixture.
  2. Arrange on a greased baking tray.
  3. Bake in 425 F oven for approximately 15-20 minutes until cooked.
  4. This recipe will make approximately 3 ½ dozen nuggets, and is especially good when served with a variety of your favourite dipping sauces, such as Pizza Dip, Buttermilk Herb Dressing, Chili Lime Dressing, found in the ‘Recipe’ Category of this blog.
