Ingredients: equal amounts of bay leaves, eucalyptus leaves, and fresh grated gingerroot to yield 4 cups of fresh herbs total, or 2 cups of dried herbs total

1 pint of olive oil

1. Macerate the dried or fresh herbs with a mortar and pestle, until all are bruised and mixed together well. Place the macerated herbs in a bowl.

2. When all the herbs have been processed, combine the macerated herbs with the olive oil (alternatively, you can use instead, a pure vegetable oil such as almond, sunflower seed, or sesame)

3. Cover the bowl, and allow it to stand undisturbed in a warm spot for 3 days.

4. At the end of 3 days, strain and discard the herbs.

5. Bottle your Herbal Magic Massage Oil in a decorative lidded bottle. Use as required to soothe sore muscles, bruises, and both recent and older strains and sprains.

Herbal Magic Massage Oil in an Instant: Combine the above herbs and your choice of oil in a large pot. Heat this mixture gently, uncovered on the stove for 1 hour. Do not allow the oil to get hotter than 200 degrees F. Cool. Strain and bottle your massage oil for instant use.
