Extra Healthy Doggy Bone Biscuits

Your beloved canine family member will adore you all the more for making these yummy Extra Healthy Doggy Bone Biscuits. Depending on the size of the cookie cutter, this recipe will yield between 40-50 bone biscuits. Extra Healthy Doggy Bone Biscuits will go fast, but between servings store in an airtight container for no more than 2 weeks

Ingredients: 2 c whole wheat flour

1 c cornmeal

2/3 c brewers yeast (for shiny coat, overall health, and to deter fleas)

2 tsp garlic powder (for overall health, and to help deter worms and fleas)

2 egg yolks

3 chicken bouillon cubes

1½ c hot water

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, and lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  2. In a small bow, dissolve the bouillon in hot water.
  3. In a separate large bowl, blend together all the dry ingredients.
  4. Make a well in the center, and add the egg yolks and dissolved bouillon water.
  5. Mix together well to form a soft dough.
  6. Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface, and using a well-floured rolling pin roll the Extra Healthy Doggy Bone Biscuits dough to a thickness of 3/8 “. If your doggy biscuit dough is too sticky, add more flour.
  7. Cut out your Extra Healthy Doggy Bone Biscuits with floured dipped cookie cutters.
  8. Place on a cookie sheet, and bake in your preheated oven for 17 minutes.
  9. Place the bone biscuits on a wire rack to cool. Serve as healthy treats/rewards for you beloved pet.
