How to Make an Easy Pecan Shortbread

This easy to make Pecan Shortbread is quickly prepared to the delight of both friends and family. During the holiday season, be sure to make several batches as you will find this cookie seems to disappear very fast!

Directions for Easy Pecan Shortbread:

½ c butter or a good quality margarine

1 T sugar

1 c crushed pecans

1 c flour dash salt

½ tsp vanilla

1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F

2. Cream the butter. Add in the sugar, flour and pecans.

3. Form the creamed dough into small balls.

4. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for ~ 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Do not overcook as they burn easily.

5. Roll the baked cookie in ½ c of fruit sugar.

Cool on a rack, then plate and watch them disappear!
