½ lb milk chocolate

½ lb white chocolate

10 small hard peppermint candy canes or candies, crushed

1 c toasted peeled almonds

  1. Separately heat the white and milk chocolates until each is melted.

  3. Spread this mixture on a foil-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Pour the melted milk chocolate on top of the white chocolate and candy mixture.

  6. Set the Swirled Peppermint Brittle aside, allowing it to cool completely.
  7. When it is cold and hard, break it into large pieces.
  8. Store in a lidded container or cookie jar.
  9. Serve on a platter with your Christmas Cookies, garnishing with additional candy canes or peppermint candies scattered over the brittle.
