The ingredients in this wonderful Multipurpose Herbal Massage Oil are effective for relieving the type of subtle almost imperceptible spasms that follow muscle injuries/strains/sprains. It is also very soothing to relieve chronic tension, menstrual cramps and joint pain.

Three ingredient version are provided to make this calming, analgesic and slightly sedative massage oil. Variation 1–Ingredients: equal parts of lavender flowers, peony root, poplar bark and slippery elm bark.

Variation 2–Ingredients: equal parts of lavender flowers, raspberry leaves, and small birch twigs and leaves

Variation 3–Ingredients: equal parts of lavender flowers, peony root, poplar bark, slippery elm bark, raspberry leaves, and small birch twigs and leaves

1. Combine your choice of herbs in a large pot with an oil of your choice (pure olive oil, sunflower seed oil, sesame oil, almond oil).

2. Gently heat your Multipurpose Herbal Massage Oil, uncovered for 1 hour, making sure that the oil gets no hotter than 200 degrees F.

3. Strain and bottle the oil when cooled.

4. Use as required.
