3 T vegetable oil
1¼ c sliced green onions
1 c finely diced cooked ham
4 c cooked rice
2 T soy sauce
¼ – ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- Place the oil in a hot skillet, then sauté the onions until they are soft.
- Add the ham and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and cayenne pepper until well blended.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, and cover the skillet.
- Continue cooking for approximately 15 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and the flavours well blended.
